A comprehensive health camp was organized today at 10:00 AM at Sriveni Celebration, Basudev Nagar, Berhampur. The event was held under the joint auspices of Lions Club Berhampur Techno and Manipal Hospital, Bhubaneswar.
Services Provided
The camp offered various medical services, including:
General health check-ups
Cardiology consultations and ECG
Diabetes screening and blood tests
Bone mineral density/orthopedic exams
Professional medical consultations
A large number of residents from Berhampur participated in the camp to avail themselves of these medical facilities.
Medical Team & Key Dignitaries
Representing Manipal Hospital, senior doctors Dr. Sadasiva Mishra and Dr. Saswat Kumar, along with a dedicated team of healthcare staff, conducted the examinations and provided necessary medical advice.
From Lions District 322 C4, the District Governor, Lion Dr. Hemant Khuntia, attended the session. During the health discussion, he delivered a valuable speech highlighting the international contributions of the Lions Club in healthcare, public service, and various social welfare programs. Former District Governor Shri Harihar Das also graced the occasion and shared his insights.
