"Youth should be aware and build a drug-free India"

Brahmapur : Brahmapur on 163rd Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, on the occasion of National Youth Day, "Youth should be aware and build a drug-free India" This message was conveyed to the youth by the leading social organization of Berhampur, Kranti and I.S.R.D. - One Stop Center, in an effort to inspire the youth, M. K.C.G. Medical College started from Biju Patnaik Sanskriti Bhavan, Berhampur, for national construction. A beautifully decorated Swamiji's chariot, carrying young men and women from various schools and colleges, circumambulated the city of Berhampur and Swamiji's words inspired and called upon the youth. At the beginning, all the guests greeted M. K.C.G.College offered a garland and lit a lamp in front of the statue of Swamiji in the Medical College premises. On this occasion, M.K.C.G Medical College and Hospital Superintendent Professor Durga Madhav Satpathy, ISRD Director Sudhir Sabat, Mahan Sangh President Sushant Kumar Sabat, One Stop Center Center In-charge Mahesweta Padhi and Advocate Pramod Kumar Panda joined as guests and called upon the youth of the society to become aware and participate in nation building and build a better nation. Inspired by Swamiji's ideals, they expressed the view that the country's transformation is possible through duty and strong faith. Under the direct supervision of Kranti's Executive Director Dr. Debananda Dash, during the Jayanti and Padayatra program, they highlighted how the youth are getting addicted to drugs and consuming tobacco products due to lack of awareness in the society and suffering the consequences, and called for stopping this as soon as possible and protecting the youth of the society.
In this walk, volunteers from various social service organizations, teachers from Samantraya Academy, K.C. Public School, Mother Grace Public School, along with about 600 youth and women joined the procession and raised slogans in the name of Swamiji.
Finally, a spiritual gathering was held in front of Biju Patnaik Sanskriti Bhavan in Hilipatna on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary under the chairmanship of Sudhir Sabat, Director of ISRD . In this, Director of Samantraya Academy, Debesh Samantraya, joined as a guest and explained in simple language the importance of Swamiji to the young society. The program was attended by Nirmala Dash, Debaraj Raut, Saroj Kumar Sahu, Purna Chandra Sahu, , Anil Kumar Sethi, Snigdha Maharana and Charchika Dash of Kranti , along with I. S. R. D. Parvatha Kumar Padhi, Gopal Krishna Dalabehera, Snehamayi Padhi and Balaram Malik along with other workers, Sakhi (One Stop Center) and all the workers of Kranti organisation.
